Generator starts then dies.

Generator starts then dies.

My McCulloch FG5700 AK generator starts,runs for about 2 seconds then dies. Yes the in-line fuel switch and the on-off switch are on. The gas has Stabil and Heet in it. There is approximately 50 hours of use on it. It is stored in the garage.

The carb needs to be cleaned.

I don't think I ever saw a McCulloch generator, so I don't know what type of engine of carb they have.
