Thumbs up Homelite UT21546 26ss weedeater

Having problem with my Homelite 26ss ut21546 weedeater. The primer bulb will not draw fuel into the bulb. Have replaced fuel lines, replaced primer bulb, taken carb apart and cleaned well. Diaphram looked good but not sure how to resolve problem. When I do press primer bulb I see several air bubbles going into the gas tank from one of the fuel lines inside the fuel tank.

Sounds like the carb needs a good cleaning. The screen could be clogged, or the check valves in the primer might not be working, etc...

Question Thanks for the help

Cheese, I took the carb completely apart (including Needle valve) cleanded with carb cleaner, also used air gun to dry and clear all debris. I believe I can order new carb for $20 plus shipping. What would you do??

If the trimmer is worth the $20, then there is no question... put the new carb on. Fussing with some old clogged carb with old gaskets and diaphragms isn't even worth $20, and then you'd still have an old rebuilt carb. This way you have a brand new one.
