Troy Bilt 11A-426A711 w/ 6.5 B&S push mower

Troy Bilt 21" push mower will not start when hot. Starts cold and runs. When shut off to change bag mower will not start. Must let it cool down 5 mins then it starts.

6.5 hp Briggs Quantum 120000 Model Series
Family 6BSXS 1901VH 2006 model.

There are no carb adjustments.

This has the auto choke that is engaged by heat from the exhaust. The exhaust gets hot, which opens the choke. Then, when you shut it down, the exhaust is still hot and holding the choke open. Waiting until it cools enough to close a bit usually lets it start back up. If the carb has a bit of a restriction, this compounds the problem, so I suggest cleaning the carb and see if that helps.

Troy Bilt trimmer no start TB425CS

I have a 4 cycle Troy Bilt Trimmer model TB425CS. This trimmer has always performed flawlessly for me. Starts on teh 2nd pull almost every time. The last time I used it (2 weeks ago) I was trimming and the machine just stopped. I tried to restart it but it wouldn't pop. Last night I took it out and tried to start it and nothing. So I tried to diagnois the problem. It is getting spark. So I put the plug back in, but I shot some starting fluid in the cylinder first. Pulled the string and nothing, no pop, no hint of wanting to start. So I pulled the air filter assembly off and moved the choke, used starting fluid in the carb, and nothing. No popping no smoke nothing. Now it had spark when the plug rested on the cylinder head so I can't see why it wouldn't have spark when I reinstall the plug. I wonder if the head gasket is blown or the cylinder is cracked? My compression tester doesn't have an adapter for a hole this small so I can't check to see if it is leaking down or not. I was considering buy new head gaskets and replacing them but I don't want to go through the trouble only for it not to work. Any ideas or suggestions?Read More

Bolens riding mower deck wobbley and deck problems

i have a almost new bolens riding mower with a 38 inch cut but the deck is very wobbley and it doesnt cut all the way out to the front wheel(line the front wheel up with the edje of the deck and thats where its supposed to cut to) but this one cuts to about 5-6 inches inside the wheel making it take so long to mow does the deck need adjusted? or a bent blade?? o and also it has mulching kit and blades on it.:help:Read More
