Craftsman mower honda motor wont start
My Craftsman 917.378551 with 5.5 Honda OHC motor 260778 S3A won't start
Was running OK then just conked out. I have spark, new air cleaner, replaced the spark plug, changed oil and gas. Removed dis-assembled and cleaned carburetor with carburetor cleaner, checked magneto gap (0.010). All the linkage looks good, carb fuel bowl is getting running supply of fuel. removed plug with finger on the spark plug hole I have compression (though not measured with guage) Will run for a moment if I spray starting fluid into the carb. Any suggestions.

If it will run with starting fluid, then it's not getting gas from the carb. Something got clogged in it.

If its runs with starting fluid or carb cleaner that means the problem run with your carb. I would try a carb kit. With a pic i could tell you more. Otherwise i hope it all works out!!!
