Poulan 4218 chain tension adjuster

Poulan 4218 chain tension adjuster

I have a Pou8lan Pro 4218 chain saw with the tool-less chain adjustment. This setup is junk and the chain keeps loosening after just a small amount of cutting. What other model has a bolt down cover that I can replace the original with

There are other poulans with standard chain tensioners in the cover, but I don't know the interchangeability of them from model to model. It might help to just take the saw to a small engine shop and compare with their saws in the junk pile. Most any small engine shop should have several junked poulans.
