lawnboy id issue

gifted a 21 in gold series self propelled 4.5 hp 2 cycle starts on primer but wont stay running no lable on out side if i tear into it will there be info on the engine for model and serial any help appreciated

Pressure Washer Pump Saver Brands/Types

Locally I see two types of pump saver available. A Briggs (also under Dewalt brand?) 4 oz aerosol type and "Green" G-pump (also AR brand, Karcher and others?) 16 oz liquid non aerosol. The aerosol type is forced into the pump under pressure with a foam and the liquid is drawn into the pump by manually rotating the pump with the recoil. Do either work as well as the other or more economical to use? In the past I have winterized my pressure washer with a Dewalt brand aerosol pump saver and have had no problems, other than the aeorosal can head leaking. I would give the liquid "Green" formula a shot if it is just as good.Read More

There is a spring on the throttle shift lever of this mower. The mower is a hydrostatic drive and there appears to be a broken spring wrapped around the throttle lever but I cannot figure out if it is broken, where it goes or find it on the parts diagram. On this diagram, it could part 82 or 55 or it could be somewhere else...not sure. It looks more like 82 but I cannot tell for sure since the quality of the image is so poor. Also, there does not seem to be any information about how this spring would slip onto the throttle lever and then connect to the chassis to keep the lever to return to its home position.
