husky chainsaw model 141

i had to remove the carb to replace a fuel line. now it runs good but will not idle and once you shut it down, it is impossible to restart.i would like to know how to adjust the carb and a solution to the hot start problem.

Sounds like you have either an air leak or a clogged carb. Did it run fine before the fuel line replacement? Did you get the gasket back on between the carb and engine? Did you clean the carb?

Yep. Sounds more like an air leak than an adjustment fix. I wouldn't mess with the mixture screws. Get it started and spray something like WD40 or a aerosol lubricant around the interface of the carb to engine cylinder. If the rpms change you have found the leak.
