murray 425303x92A belt routing
I have a murray 425303x92A. The drive belt from the engine to the variable speed pulley broke and I am not sure how it goes back on the two pulleys that put tension on the belt when I push the drive pedal. I have the parts diagram and it shows the belt and pulleys but not how the belt goes around them. any one know? thanks

When you look at the small pulleys that the belt goes around, they will have metal on one side of the pulley that makes it hard to get the belt on that side of the pulley. That's the side that the belt goes on. You will probably have to loosen or remove the pulleys to get the belt between them and the metal bracket.

Thanks cheese. The pulleys each have a metal pin for the belt guide and I put the right side of the belt thu with the pins to the outside of the belt. it seem very tight in the guides but I can't see any other way to put it on. I have made sure I have the right belt. It is very hard to do sense you have to take the bracket off to get to the pulleys. thanks for your help.
