Hi lo carb settings 25cc craftrsman leafblower

I have an older craftsman 200mph leafblower model#358797550 .The plastic stops are gone on the hi lo screws and i cant get them adjusted close enough to start .how many turns out (roughly ) do they need to be turned?? anybody THANXX

Many will have different answers to your question. I have had good luck with about 1 1/4 turns on each. Good luck

The carb sites have good info about adjusting their carbs, Welcome to USA Zama or Walbro We Enable Machines that make life better! on either site select the Service/Aftermarket tab. Before you get too frustrated with it not starting try moving the cylinder, those blowers have a tendency for the cylinder bolts to come loose and create an air leak, second remove the muffler and check the piston and cylinder walls, if you see deep scratches the blower is shot. Also you need at least 90lb compression for it to run. Have a good one. Geo

Chainsaw Oiler Doesn't Work

I recently purchased a ~25 year old Craftsman chain saw, model number 358.355051. I believe this saw was made by Poulan. The chain oiler does not work and it leaks oil. The leaks are due to two gaskets that are missing. I made gaskets using sheet gasket material and an Xacto knife. Following the exploded view diagram on Sears’ parts website I removed the oil pump. I am baffled as to how it’s supposed to work. It’s a small, round black plastic thing with an aluminum disk on one end that might be an oil metering device. On the other end is a small plastic barb, maybe 1/8 inch in diameter, that has nothing connected to it. It certainly looks like something should be connected there. The pump assembly mounts low on the crankcase in the front corner near where the chain enters the saw. I see no mechanical connection or attachment to power the pump. The hole in the saw casing (cast metal—no plastic!!) where the oil should come out is not clogged. On the inside of the casing there is no hose or tubing attached to this oil port. The parts diagram also shows an oil filter which is missing on my saw. Can someone explain how this oiler is supposed to work and what might be wrong with mine? Is UST a decent brand for a generator?

During HURRICANE "SANDY", I was able to score a UST 7500W generator from my local Home Depot(timing is everything). I was able to use it for a day and as Murphy's Law would have it, my power came on. My goal was to keep it for possible future uses, but I am questioning the brand. See, I always bought name brand supplies due to customer service and reliability. FWIW, I maintain my equipment/tools as so they can last. With that being said, is this UST generator a decent brand that I should keep. Thanks!Read More
