Lawn Boy 522R
I have a lawn Boy 522R that Keeps on stalling every time i put it on forward or reverse. The snow could be a couple inches high, and the engine still stall. What could be the problem?

About 95% of the time it just isn't getting enough gas. That means cleaning the carburetor either by dismantling it or running a cleaner through it. The Sea Foam stuff is my favorite and I have always gotten good results with it. It works quickly.
If your filter had been in place and the fuel you use is clean, the problem is likely varnish and Sea Foam takes care of that.
Since you have it running that would be my choice to try first.
Other things that can happen that fall more under the heading of hardware and replace it are the governor not opening, or the fuel not being delivered to the carburetor, or the fuel cap vent plugged.
Also you may have a weak spark, but that type of thing comes with a host of other problems and isn't often associated with what you have. The fuel metering would be my take on it.
