chain saw update

Well I changed carb gasket and manifold gasket.Still dies out .I opened the carb to check the screen but i didnt find any.I remembered that i didnt get a new screen when i rebuilt it.Could it be i dont have one?I also cheked the engine gaskets and they looked ok.Im begining to think I migt need a new carb.What else could I do?

You need to go back tho what Cheese suggested with spraying carb cleaner around the engine gaskets to see if the rpms change. That would indicate an air leak or not.

Gaskets may appear fine, but not doing their job because of age and brittleness.

You may need another carb or, if the problem is in a gasket/seal leaking, the new carb may get you nothing.
