i,m not sure if this is the right place for this,i accidentally ran my tractor out of fuel,now when it starts it only runs for 20 seconds and dies,its a 2007 diesel

Give it near full throttle when you get it started and try to purge the air. If that fails, crack the nut at the injector lines where they fit on the injectors and crank the engine over until fuel runs out of them with no bubbles coming out.
