chainsaw model no. C944.411371

i have a craftsman 16' chainsaw that i am repairing.I am looking for the specs for the cylinder,piston,and ring so i can determine if those parts need replacement.thanks.

Usually, rather than looking at numeric specs, you would check the compression to see if it's over 100 lbs. The more the better,

If it's under 100 lbs, look for scoring on the cylinder, then if it's in good shape, replace the rings. If the cylinder is badly scored to where honing won't clean it up, then everything will have to be replaced. In a 42cc Poulan it would be about $100,00 = $60.00 for the barrel, and $40.00 for the piston and rings.

thanks.i will clean up the parts and try compression again.
