I started mowing today with my honda hrx 217 push mower.I got have the yard done, and i ran over a peice of wire, it bent my blade a little,so i took the blades of and straighten it.I put the blades back on,i forgot to use a torque wrench.I started mowing the rest of the yard.It did fine for about 10 minutes, then it started viberating more than usual, and the i noticed it wasnt running right.I looked down and seen a little bit of oil leaking from the air filter. so i turned if off and took the air filter off,i took it apart to see if i could see a problem. I couldnt see anything wrong. I put it back together,i tried to start it,it started for about 2 seconds, and it will not start again, for nothing. what do i do? where do i start? Please can anyone help???

Is the blade still straight? Straightening a blade doesn't always work... it's a strong spring steel that tends to bend back to where it was once it gets bent. It could have also broken where it was straightened. Does the spark plug spark? Is there oil in the carb?

If the new blade and air filter don't take care of it I wonder if the flywheel cotter key was sheered? It was only slightly off at first and ran but slowly moved to the point the ignition timing is too far off.
