Hello! I have a year-old Troy-Bilt self-propelled push mower model 12AVB26M011.
I noticed that the transmission was leaving grease stains in my garage. The manual says it is factory sealed and does not need fluid added. Well, to get to it, I had to take the cover off. It's getting it all back together I am having problems with.
1) If you look where the pink tape is, is the belt routed correctly through that wire bracket?
2) There is a clip that was just rattling around in there. Where does that clip go? Where the white tape is there a three rectangular holes that look like the clip could go in any of them, but which one? Or is there supposed to be three clips?
3) My clip is not symmetrical. Is that the whole clip, or is there a piece broken off? (I don't have a new one to compare it to.)
I appreciate the help!
Respectfully,

Hello learning,
Better late than not at all.....
The belt is routed correctly, There's only one clip and your's is broken which is likely why it's off. The clip part# is 787-01793 and this shows the location.....
