I'm lost now (Poulan Chainsaw Fuel Line Disaster)

I'm lost now(http://www.doityourself.com/forum/ou...ml#post2094447)

I read all the post but my saw seems to work differently then explained. When I push my bulb, it draws fuel from the tank, thru the bulb and I see it squirt into the TOP of the carb. The saw runs this way but stalls when idiling. I know you said the bulb pulls the fuel thru the carb, but when I had it that way, It did nothing. Should the line from the bulb go to the bottom or top of the carb. I can actually use it the way it is now but I'm afraid it may be dangerous

Ranger,

Supply your model and serial# and I will see what I can find. I believe the hose should be going to the bottom of the carb. With the info I can be sure.
