I'm lost now (Poulan Chainsaw Fuel Line Disaster)
I'm lost now(http://www.doityourself.com/forum/ou...ml#post2094447)
I read all the post but my saw seems to work differently then explained. When I push my bulb, it draws fuel from the tank, thru the bulb and I see it squirt into the TOP of the carb. The saw runs this way but stalls when idiling. I know you said the bulb pulls the fuel thru the carb, but when I had it that way, It did nothing. Should the line from the bulb go to the bottom or top of the carb. I can actually use it the way it is now but I'm afraid it may be dangerous

I just hope it isn't like my Poulan 3500 countervibe bow saw. I started to trace down the fuel line, taking parts off, and taking parts off, and still not getting to the end. Put all the parts back on and took it to the lawnmower shop. Not exactly DIY, but I had gone as far as I could. Maybe fishmech will have better results for you.
