Generac XP8000 - replace battery cable bolts with clips
I find the OEM charger unreliable and inefficient, especially cuz it gets COLD here in Canada. I tend to pull the battery, bring it inside, and occasionally hook it up to a 1.25A float charger. In an emergency it’s easy enough to slap the battery in place and bolt the hold-down and back panel in place.
However, those tiny 8mm bolts for the leads are a PITA even in daylight. Has anyone retro-fitted clips onto the generator so it’s easier to hook up and go?

You could go with a connector from Anderson power. Basically you buy the single plugs and slide two together to make a matching plug. You could buy three red and three black ends. One pair goes on the generator, one pair goes on the battery and one pair could go on the charger.
