Honda problem

Today I pulled my Honda Harmony 216 put of storage. I changed the oil and the air filter and put in a new spark plug. I also put on new mulching blades.

When I start the mower, it shakes violently and the engine stops when cutting the grass, as though the grass was very long and wet. The grass is not particularly long.

Suggestions appreciated.

Shakes because of it running rough, or like something is out of balance? Did you turn the mower over to work on it? If so, did you tilt it carb side down? If so, the air filter is soaked with oil and gas and needs to be changed, it's choking down the engine.

You might want to recheck you instulation of the blades, you may have gotten them on wrong that will make it shake violently. Good luck.
