Need a part for craftsman snowblower

I have a Sears 536.885020 Snowblower and the drive shaft broke. Part 6550 in the parts manual and sears don't carry the part any more. Will it cross to another brand that may still be available. This is the shaft that the friction wheel is attached to. Thanks for any help.

10 HP, 32" track drive snow thrower... dang, that's a beast.

I did a quick search and found as you did that Sears has discontinued the part. However, Sears re-brands items like that, just like Kenmore washers and dryers and refrigerators are made by someone else. I've had good luck and good experience sourcing parts at JacksSmallEngines.com. They're not open today but if you call you'll get a live person to cross-index the part.

Where in Colorado are you? Your machine was built by Noma which was bough by Murray now owned by Briggs & Stratton. These machines are still use in Canada & you can get these NLA parts from them:

Noma Murray Sears Craftsman Poulan Canadiana Snowblower Part Canada

page down a bit

If just the sprocket is damaged you might be able to grind off the old one & replace it.
