14.5hp walbro carburetor

I have a 1999 John Deere Sabre with a 14.5 hp Briggs & Stratton. The carburetor is a Walbro LMT with a model number of 498898. I can't find a replacement anywhere that matches that number. If anyone has an old one that still works, I sure would appreciate it.

Hey thanks for the quick response. The left side body of the carb itself has a large crack. I was wondering if anyone had a used part number #698620 that doesn't cost an arm and a leg like a new one does. It's a Walbro and that'ts the part number.

Papadale, use your model number and type number and go to briggs website and it will give you the proper part number and Yes look on e-bay,,much cheaper,,but watch out for the used stuff, but they can be rebuilt. Good luck.
