Troy Bult lawn mower (Power Belt Routing)

This thing is driving me crazy. So know the deck blade belt wore out and I can't seem to route the belt without it rubbing against metal. It is on the pulleys correctly. It is a 13bx60tg7666 and here are pics of the belt.
Please help!!

Where the belt goes from one blade to the other across the back, it is in front of the metal instead of behind it. Something doesn't quite look right, like the belt is too long or I'm not sure what. Maybe it's just the perspective.

Rule of thumb when rerunning the belt, if the pulley is flat the back side of the belt is used, Vee shaped then the vee on the belt is used.

Toro Recycler (Didn't Start, Now won't stay running)

My Toro (B & S 6.75) was sitting for a good year without use. I had a landscaper and recently got rid of him. Tried to get my Toro running, no go. Have done a bunch of work to clean it up. New gaskets (double it up at recommendation from repair guy) New Carb Bowl, ring and nut washer Carb Cleaner to Carb Cleaned Carb Bowl nut holes (wound up blowing carb cleaner in my eye... fun) New air filter So now it will turn over but will not stay running.
