New carb
Good morning,
I just replaced the carb on my tecumseh OH 50 engine with an aftermarket Oregon carb.
The engine starts but runs very rough and you can feel a gas mist coming out of the carb. I think it is running way too rich. The only adjustment on the carb appears to be idle speed.
The only difference between the new and old carb is that the new carb has a manual choke.
Any ideas greatly appreciated.........thanks

Check just above the float bowl and to your left you might see a plug that should pull out without to much force .In behind you will see your gas air mixture screw.
