Bolens Won't go Uphill

I have a Bolens Model number 13AC762F065 i have changed all the belts when i ride on level ground all is fine when i start up a grade the mower stops. I got off the mower to see what was happening and none of the drive pulleys or belts were turning. If i pushed the mower a little it would go..

Any ideas or suggestions ?

Hello Mason Thompson,

If this issue just started since installing the new belts try this;

Start the engine and put the speed selector in the fastest position, With the trans shifter in neutral let the clutch out fully then depress and let it out a second time then test drive.

This will center the belts in the variator and apply proper belt tensions.

Good Luck

I agree with the above advice. That is, if you used genuine belts to replace them with, not fractional belts that you matched up with the old ones.
