Carb question for Wheelhorse Generator 5550

Need help pls. I just replaced my Nikki carb on my Generac Wheelhorse 5550 Generator, Model 01646 (B&S Eng). B&S Model 204412; Type:0142E1; Code 04012OYD After putting new Nikki carb on, it started right up and runs smooth but seems to be running very fast. Or, put another way, it seems that my idle is way too high. I only saw one screw on carb and tried adjusting it but it made no difference so I put it in original position. Under the cover where the on off switch is the linkage from the carb to the engine. Any suggestions please??

Was there any springs that you may have not put back on from the governor to the carb? That spring is what controls the throttle in relation to the governor.
