Setting the carb on a Ryobi Trimmer
I've been working with a Ryobi trimmer and had to buy a new carb since their was no kit available (No name on the carb even)Does anyone happen to know what the initial setting should be.Carb came with screws all the way in.

1 1/2 out from lightly seated. Then set the throttle screw so it will keep idling, then set the low speed screw for max rpms. Then go to WOT and set the high speed screw for max rpms. At that setting the rpms should jump when you crack the throttle open.
Then (and this is important), to WOT = max rpms and open the mix screw until you get a slight drop in rpms. This is to set a richer mixture for lube and cooling.
Then go back to the low speed screw at idle and cut the rpms at idle in the same way, for the same reason.
Then reset the throttle opening for the idle speed for a smooth idle.
