Battery Hedge Trimmer Replacement

I've had a Echo DHC-3000 battery hedge trimmer for years. It's pretty tired and I'd like to replace it. Guess it wasn't very popular with the trade and Echo no longer makes it.
If you're not familier with it, it's a 30"(?) blade and uses a 12 volt battery similar to a motorcycle battery that goes in a knapsack style carrier.
Does anyone make something comparable?

The only current decent battery operated hedge trimmer is the Stihl HSA-65

My neighbor has one. Works pretty good but it's heavy.

That looks nice, but I'm talking 10' high ficus, more than 100' each side.Name: Hedge.jpg

In that case you'll be looking towards a gas powered trimmer as I don't know of any battery powered units on the market that will handle that.
