I have 3 engines and I would like to connect them onto the same power line to power up a bakery. Everything is electrical. It will be during the winter. So I will also be needing to use the electrical heat pumps. The first step is make a generator out of each. Please assist me in the parts that I would need. Do they all need to produce the same output or is that not important? I assume that it would be connected like this. First the engine will be connected to an alternator with a belt. The alternator will be connected to a power transformer and the power transformer will be connected to the power stabilizer Please correct the steps that are above. What parts should I choose for the power to be able to work on a 10KW with 1000amps? (This power is requirement is much more than needed, it is just to make sure that it wont die on me) This is only for experimental purposes. It will be running for 3 months non-stop so it has to be all good quality parts.

:alarm: I have this 8 hp Briggs horizontal shaft engine on my '60 Wheel Horse mower that I am having a difficult time getting to run right. This model engine has the up draft style carb with 3 adjustment screws.. One throttle adjustment screw, one idle screw at the top (I guess), and one other screw at the base of the bowl of the carb that I don't know what is for. :wall: The carb is very clean, and I can get the engine to run on occasion, but it surges. The throttle linkage is very touchy and with the engine off, the throttle cable will move the carb to the closed position to full open in a fraction of an inch. Being that this is a pull start engine, I need to know the function of these screws and a base line of where to start. It's a neat little tractor and I would love for this thing to work right. Let me know if you need further info. It's probably going to take a few write ups to get this thing right. :confused: Thanks, Joe
