Diode Help
Hello, I just found the unsuspecting problem to my Riding Mower not charging, the culprit being the diode thanks to a fellas video on youtube. Now that the problem is isolated i need to find the value of the diode to replace the other one which is nonexistant or i would simply use that as a gage for buying another.
The mower engine is a 15.5 hp Tecumseh OV490EA I called around town to the local small engine shops and no one keeps them instock but somebody said to go the local electronics store and they will have something but i need the voltage and amps in order to get this so if anyone could help that would be great.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forums.
Pickup a 6A05 diode which is 6 amps at 50 volts.
You can also use 6 amp at 100 volts
The Shack should have them.
