Echo 2100 power blower, primer bulb wont fill with fuel

im working on a 2100 echo power blower. the customer ran boat gas through it, so i cleaned the carb, put in a new kit, new primer bulb, new grommet with lines, new fuel filter, new spark plug, new vent cap. tried running it but wont get fuel into the primer bulb. im running out of ideas. it gets good pressure coming from the lines, when you prime it a few times and take off the fuel line, gas squirts everywhere. it just isnt filling the primer bulb

just hooked up a new carb to it and it pumps fine. would the boat gas have ruined his carb?

Depends how long it sat. Have heard the jet is pretty fragile

it shouldn't have ruined it... you might just have to clean it some more. Something is still blocked, probably in the screen inlet area or the needle valve.

Need Carb Info

Long story short. I have and old Snapper mower. It's worth maybe $150 tops. The carb is shot. Rusted out. it's a Walbro 5 4993 No other number visible. Early 80's model I'd guess. Anyone know a good cheap replacement and the model #. I've searched the Briggs site. no help. Even using the Model Type and Code. I guess it's too old. Seached E-bay and Amazon. All I've found is either later model 5 4993's or kits for late model 5 4993's Thanks in advance.

No Spark While Cranking

8hp Briggs, with magneto ignition and magnetron coil (no contact points). While cranking, no spark. Release the starter, and a spark per revolution while the crankshaft spins down. No play in crankshaft bearings. And of course, a magneto ignition does not require battery voltage to generate a spark. This also happens with the kill wire disconnected.
