Need Gas Tank Cap for Kawasaki Generator
I have a Kawasaki GA1000A generator that is missing the gas tank cap. Went on-line to order a replacement until I found out they were priced between $30 and $40 each. Wow! Why so pricey? Does anyone know where I can find a reasonably priced cap for less than $10.

Look around for a shade tree small engine repair shop and go visit with the generator. See if they can find a cap that will fit in from their boneyard of parts. Short of paying the price and ordering one you know will work I think it's trial and error finding one that will fit.
