Snow blower stalls when I unchoke it.

Runs okay with choke on, stutters a little but if I move it even one notch on the choke it stalls out. I removed the carb bowl and there was a little gunk that I cleaned out and cleaned the holes in the screws but didn't seem to do much.

My bad for not draining the fuel last winter. :-(

Get rid of the old fuel and pull the carburetor off and take it completely apart, clean up the insides with some carburetor cleaner.

took the carb out and spray carb cleaner up there and it started running better. It still sputters on idle speed though, smooth on full throttle.

Put a heavy dose of seafoam in your fuel tank and it will probably complete the cleaning. Have a good one. Geo
