Gas Compressor Won't Stay Running
Hoping I can learn how to work this thing correctly.
It's an Ingersol-Rand SS3-GH wheelbarrow type with a Honda engine. I inherited it from my dad and never used it before, but can't keep it running. It starts up good, and will build pressure until about 120psi, and then die. Fuel is good, oil is good, it runs fine and builds pressure but will just shut off. I believe this is a continuous run model so something isn't working correctly. I'm willing to try and work on it myself, just don't know where to start.
Thanks!

I think I would look at the bypass valve on it. What may be happening is the pressure is set for 120# for the tank, so the valve is thrown to bypass to avoid more pressure in the tank. If that bypass doesn't let the pressure go past the tank, the pressure at the pump would kill the engine. If it kills regularly at 120#, that's a good possibility.
Probably not in the engine and its running.
