Primer bulb

The primer bulb is working if you can use it to pump more gas into the carb, but you still have a carburetor issue. There is still something blocked in the carb.

Take the bowl nut out and clean out the holes in it. There are 3. One goes through one side out the other, one through the center, and a tiny one that is in an unthreaded section near the end of the bolt. This tiny one is hard to see and where your problem lies.

It could also be that the main fuel line in the fuel tank has broken off from age. Open the tank and fish the line up with a hooked wire to make sure it's intact.
