Briggs 8hp vertical

I have a blown motor on a buyers sand spreader and have found that briggs no longer makes this motor M# 194707, T# 4525-E1. Anyone know where I could find one new or used? Buyers has no options for me other than get with Briggs for their replacement. I did and they recommend a 10hp that does not have its own fuel tank attached. Thanks.

If you can't find an identical replacement you can try to find something as similar as possible. Match up the mounting bolt pattern and the shaft diameter, length, keyway and engine rotation direction. Worst case you may have to make a bracket to hold a fuel tank.
