Tecumseh Model number

I have an Airens snowblower model 904026. I need to find the engine model number so I can get a carb rebuild kit. The only thing I can find is a sticker that says 8HP. Anyone have any clue on the engine model on this old machine.

It is usually stamped in the metal shroud by the spark plug. Have a good one. Geo

Craftsman GT 26 Tractor no reverse gear

I have a Craftsman GT 26 tractor, model #917.276910 with a 6 speed manual transaxle. It's about 6 years old - 450 hours on the clock. The transaxle will not shift into reverse. I thought it was an adjustment issue, but I adjusted the shift lever as far as it could go and it still won't reverse. So I put it on jack stands, took off the mower deck, and moved the transaxle into reverse by hand. Had my son get on and start it and the wheels wouldn't move. It made a clicking noise though, as if the gears were trying to grab each other. I'd like not to have to change the transaxle, it's $842 + shipping and tax from Sears.
