poulan 260 chainsaw primer bulb issues
My primer bulb will fill only when I lay the saw on its side(primer facing up) But it won't pull fuel from the tank when the saw is laying flat. I topped off the tank to be sure.
The saw will start and run until the fuel in the primer is burned.
Could the line in the tank moved somehow? Or corroded? Sticking up out of the gas?
The saw is over 10 years old. I prefer to repair my tools rather then replace AS LONG AS it's cost effective.

Sounds like you just need to replace the fuel lines. One of them feeding the fuel is likely broken or leaking air. They aren't expensive. Just replace them one at a time so they don't get mixed up.
The one in the tank has a filter attached and that weights it down into the fuel.

Ethanol fuel is eating up fuel lines and diaphragms like crazy.
Try to find someplace that sells nonethanol fuel in the future.
Your power equipment dealer may have some leads.
