B&S 20T232-0036-F1 engine carb question

I have a General Wheel House 5550 gen set, with B&S 20T232-0036-F1 engine. My carb is 796321.

I'm cleaning my carb.

The main jet tube have 4 small holes on the inlet of the carb. Do those holes go crossways, or inline with the inlet? I just want to make sure mine is set right.

I bought it used, and don't know whether someone may or may not have "twisted" the main jet.

I don't have an answer to your question, but this guy literally beats it to death with carb cleaning instructions. This one pertains to carb 796321. Does it look like yours? Give it a read, it might help.
