TROYBILT Intek V-Twin Model445577 Type 0499 E1

Blowing voluminous clouds of white smoke at start up. Not making any sounds that would suggest broken internal parts. There is definitely gas in the crankcase. Removed carb and intake manifold, oily fuel drained out. Did visual of both heads, does not appear to be any leakage, but not sure that indicates I don't need new head gasket(s). Read somewhere that fuel in crankcase could be caused by a stuck or deteriorated float needle.
Would welcome some experienced input on this motor/issue.

Thanks in advance.

Gassy oil is a carburetor problem. It will smoke heavily and can ruin the engine in short order. Fix the problem and change the oil before using it. Probably a bad or dirty needle/seat.
