Chainsaw Poulan Pro 18

I have a Poulan Pro and it will start good on choke but after it warms up and you put it on run it just dies out any help please

Usually cleaning it will take care of it. The kicker is you have to expose everything in the carburetor to clean it and a kit is only ten dollars so you may as well clean it and put a complete kit in it. That way you'll be good for a few years on it. Kits are pretty easy to put in. Just watch the way it comes apart

There's a recent post on here about setting the carb, so you can follow that one to tune yours after installing the kit, if you decide to go that route.

Try backing out the high speed mixture screw 1/2 turn or so. If that doesn't do it, you'll probably have to clean the carb.

Adj carburetor

How can you adjust carburetor ? Looks to me you have to have a special tool.

Push a red 14 gauge wire butt connector on it and turn it with pliers.
