Troy Bilt - 46" Super Bronco 13Ax60KH011 - PTO Lever won't engage blades
I just bought a used Troy-Bilt Super Bronco 46" Riding Mower...I believe it's a 2009. I used it for about a 1/2 hour and then the PTO (blade engage lever) stopped working. When I swing it up the blades do not engage and the lever seems much easier to operate.
I originally suspected it was the PTO cable that connects the lever to the plate on the blade deck. I thought it might have stretched out (because there was way too much slack) but now I'm thinking that when the previous owner had the belts changed the pulleys weren't properly re-adjusted.
I have no experience with these mowers. Any ideas as to what the problem could be?
Here is a diagram of the PTO lever http://partstream.arinet.com/Image?a...FbIDOgodnj8AcA

Any tips, clues, advice etc. would be much appreciated.
Thanks

If it was working for 1/2 hour, I doubt it's a pulley not in the right place. It sounds to me like the belt came off one of the pulleys or the cable isn't moving the tensioner arm.
