pressure washer no water runs through

engine is a 6hp Mitsubishi model GT600 gas powered
Pressure washer is blue so i think it is a simonize but since stickers have been worn off cant be certain

The issue is that the water doesnt go past the 1st inlet. hose gets plugged in and water is trapped, with engine running the water pressure builds and exists through the pressure release at high pressure. The pressure release seems to be working well because it only discharges water under high pressure.

the hoses are clean and i can blow air through the nozzle etc are all clear, i have even removed and bypassed everything to see if the water will just come out of the connector where you plug in the wand hose and nothing, no water. seems to be trapped in the 1st section

any suggestions?

 

I am not familiar with that brand. I would probably start by pulling the valve body off and follow the water circuit to see where the blockage is occurring.
