Priming problems

Hi All, I just replaced the primer bulb on my Tecumseh LV95EA thinking that was the problem for hard starting as no gas was squirting into the carb, but still no gas is squirting into carb ,I did notice however that the bowl nut seems to be leaking a bit, would that cause the priming problem? Engine runs fine after once started with staring fluid.
What could I use for a nut gasket?

Hello Geochurchi,

Replace the bowl nut gasket with part# 27110A, Also while you have the nut out go ahead and replace the bowl gasket# 631028A. If either doesn't seal correctly the bowl will not pressurize and push the fuel through the carb, Also make sure both air filter base screws are tight as the outer most screw goes through the primer passage.....

Good Luck
