Homelite 4550 Generator problem

I have a 4550 Homelite generator with a Subaru engine. It runs great for 30 minutes and then shuts off. It restarts very easily and runs for another 30 minutes and shuts off. There is plenty of oil.
Model number is UT9036505
Suggestions?

I'd probably put an inline spark tester in and see if it looses spark when it dies and start from there.

Thank you. Do you think the Oil Level shut off switch might be bad?

The oil shutoff is probably not bad if it's reliably re-starting. What Cheese is probably thinking is that the coil might be going bad and stops working when it gets fully up to temperature. If it's the coil it will get progressively worse until it no longer runs at all.

Another thing to check is to loosen or remove the gas cap and see if the engine continues to die after 30 minutes running. If the cap does not vent properly the engine will draw a vacuum in the tank until it can no longer draw fuel. After resting air slowly seeps back into the tank and the engine will again run.
