Sears Crafstman won't move in forward or reverse
Firstly, yes, there is a thread with this name; but, it's over a year old and wouldn't let me reply to it.
I'm not as mechanically included as others and the recommendation was to check the pins on the brake assembly.
But, I don't know how.
My Sears Craftsman won't move in forward or reverse. I have checked the toggle pin in the back. When I pull it out I can't push the mower either.

It would help if you provided the model number of the tractor as Craftsman has made a lot of different tractors over the years.

The belt that controls the mower is definitely working. The drive belt appears to be in place also.
I'll be honest I"m not exactly sure what the model number is; but, it's this one:
Craftsman 42 In. 21Hp Briggs & Stratton Hydrostatic Turn Tight Yard Tractor Non CA | Sears Outlet
Except I bought mine brand new.

Is the belt turning the transmission pulley (can you see it turning)? Does it make any noise when trying to make it move? The model number is under the seat on a sticker.
