engine runs for few seconds then quits
I have a Tecumseh 10 hp generator. it fires and runs few seconds then quits. I have tried carb spray, no help. I have changed gas, filter, cleaned carb. even replaced carb. it does same thing. there is gas in bowl. it won't fire till it has set for five minutes. it does have good spark. could intake valve be sticking? stumped,,

Sounds like flow from the tank to the carb bowl is minimal. The rubber seat on these will swell up and restrict fuel flow.
