tecumseh carb float problems
Yard machine riding mower. I put a rebuild carb kit in. It floods gas into carb. Needle sticks. I gave up and got a new carb. Put it on, and the opposite now. gas won't go into the bowl. I tried changing the floats and needles from onto the other. Same thing one doesn't shut the gas off the other won't let any in. I'm stumped.

Post the model# of the mower.
Does it have a fuel pump?
Tried removing the fuel line from the carb. and see if fuel runs out? If there's a fuel pump you'll need to turn the key to get fuel to run out. No fuel, bad pump.
