Honda EU3000is generator won't start

I have a Honda EU3000is generator that I tore down to clean the gas tank, and I put it back together, but it won't start, all I hear is clicking when I turn the key. The battery was fine (started just a few days before)
Looking for a (free) service manual or wiring diagram. Thanks.

Put a voltmeter on the battery. What is that number? Should be at least 12V DC. If it's under that the battery needs to be charged. Does the unit start with the recoil starter?

I might add that it must be 12 volts with a load on it.
A bad battery can show adequate voltage at rest but not under load.
