Cub Cadet Lawn Tractor Electrical issues

I have a 2009 Cub Cadet LXT1040 lawn tractor with Kohler Courage engine.

I've had issues with the battery being killed since I got it, and have had to replace 2 batteries over the years.

Yesterday, I was mowing, and I turned the key to the reverse mode, pressed the reverse button and put it in reverse. The motor died instantly.

Now the battery has power, but there is NO current anywhere in the tractor. No dash lights or readout, no lights, no nothing.
I checked the 20 amp fuse under the seat, which was seated fine, and there is nothing wrong with the fuse.

At this point, i'm guessing Solenoid or gremlins???

Your thoughts are appreciated.

Welcome to the forums!

You need to measure voltage, not current. Get a meter and follow the wires. Make sure you have 12 volts DC to the frame of the mower. Then follow the positive wire and keep taking readings until you lose the 12 volts.

Did you do an Ohm reading on the fuse?
