I was asked if I could start up a Ryobi 725r weedeater that had been stored for a while. The fuel lines look great but it floods and won't start. This is the first time I've had a problem with too much fuel going in. Any quick ideas?

The fuel that was left setting the carb evaporated leaving varnish in the needle seat so it doesn't shut off the fuel, so remove the carb, disassemble and spray all holes, cracks and crevasses with brake parts cleaner to remove the varnish, reassemble and hope for the best. Have a good one. Geo
