Cross Reference Help
OK...now that the snow is long gone, I want to do a full service on my snow blower. I'm attempting to find parts for it, but i keep hitting a wall. I can't seem to find anything for my machine according to the model number on it. It is a Snow Eater sold by the now extinct Rickel Hardware. The model number on the tag on the rear cover says RKL825E, and under that is the number 8407. The only other number on the tag is the serial number. I'm assuming that it means Rickel...8hp...25"...Electric start. Is this correct? It has an 8 HP Tecumseh engine and looks exactly like the one in the attachment. Can someone cross reference this model number to a Murray/Noma/Craftsman model number so that I could find the parts that I need?

Attachment does not work.
Need to be looking for the mod. and serial numbers on the engine not the blower it's self if your looking for engine parts.
What parts are you looking for?

What type of service do you want to do. A Joe says engine rebuild or auger repair. If it's just routine maintenance you don't need a manual. You might call Jack's Small engine repair at Lawn Mower Parts
They might be able to id parts for you.
